Sampling in spatial vision
Sampling in spatial vision is a scholarly work by Dennis M. Levi, published in 1986 in ''Nature''. The main subjects of the publication include mathematics, optics, computer science, artificial intelligence, Vernier acuity, optometry, fovea centralis, myopia, Vernier scale, spatial frequency, sampling, peripheral vision, computer vision, visual perception, laser safety, and visual acuity. The authors have been investigating the sampling of spatial information in central and peripheral vision (the perifovea) of normal human observers and in observers with strabismic amblyopia.
