Rylie Mills


Rylie Mills is an American professional football defensive end for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and was selected by the Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL draft.

Early life

Mills attended Lake Forest High School in Lake Forest, Illinois where he also competed in the shot put and discus. He committed to the University of Notre Dame to play college football and enrolled early beginning in the spring semester of 2020.

College career

As a true freshman at Notre Dame in 2020, Mills played in 9 games and made his first start in the 2021 Rose Bowl against [2020 Alabama Crimson Tide American football|football team|Alabama]. He played in all 13 games in 2022 and recorded 24 total tackles throughout the season.

Professional career

Mills was selected by the Seattle Seahawks with the 142nd pick in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL draft.
