Ridge Wood Heights is a census-designated place in Sarasota County, Florida, United States. The population was 5,064 at the 2020 census, up from 4,795 at the 2010 census. It is part of the North Port-Bradenton-Sarasota, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.

According to the 2020 United States census, Ridge Wood Heights had a population of 5,064. There were 2,370 households resulting in 2.03 persons per household.
Of the total population, the age was split with 5.5% under 5 years old, 15.5% under 18 years old, and 22.2% over 65 years old. 48.5% of the population were female persons.
By race, the population was split with 89.4% white, 2.3% black or African American, 2.4% Asian, 0.2% Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander, 0.9% two or more races, and 8.5% Hispanic or Latino. There were 244 veterans living in the CDP and 12.3% of the population were foreign born persons.
There was an owner-occupied housing unit rate of 71.3% and a median value of owner-occupied housing units of $307,800. 95.6% of households had a computer and 87.6% of households had a broadband internet subscription.
