Refraction as a basis for screening children for squint and amblyopia
Refraction as a basis for screening children for squint and amblyopia is a scholarly work, published in 1977 in ''British Journal of Ophthalmology''. The main subjects of the publication include Strabismus, esotropia, medicine, hyperopia, optometry, amblyopia, ophthalmology, myopia, anisometropia, refraction, emmetropia, and refractive error. Since there is a close association between the refraction and how, when, and whether a child presents with squint and/or amblyopia, it would seem reasonable to reconsider refraction as a basis for screening young children for visual defects.
