Red Oak Community School District


The Red Oak Community School District is a rural public school district based in Red Oak, Iowa. The district is mainly in Montgomery County, with small areas in Page and Pottawattamie counties. The district serves the towns of Red Oak and Coburg, and surrounding rural areas.
The school's mascot is the Tigers. Their colors are orange and black.
The Red Oak Community School District was established to serve students in Red Oak and the surrounding rural areas of Montgomery County, Iowa. Like many rural school districts in the state, it has changed enrolment and facilities over time while continuing to provide K–12 public education to the local community.

All district schools are located within the city of Red Oak, allowing for centralized administration and shared resources across grade levels. The junior/senior high school serves students from both middle and high school grades under a single campus.

Athletics play an important role in student life within the district. Red Oak teams compete at the varsity level through the Iowa High School Athletic Association and the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union, primarily within the Hawkeye 10 Conference.
