Preterm labour and delivery is a scholarly work, published in 1996 in ''European Journal of Pediatrics''. The main subjects of the publication include myometrium, infant respiratory distress syndrome, preterm birth, maternal health, gestation, medicine, ritodrine, clinical trial, obstetrics, tocolytic uterine relaxants, nitric oxide, randomized controlled trial, observational study, human pregnancy, and premature labor. The authors have conducted an observational study which has suggested that glyceryl trinitrate (GTN), and NO donor, may be effective in prolonging gestation.
