Popilnia Raion
Popilnia Raion was a raion of Zhytomyr Oblast, northern Ukraine. Its administrative centre was located at Popilnia. The raion covered an area of. The raion was abolished on 18 July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Zhytomyr Oblast to four. - Ivan Samoilovych — a native of Khodorkiv, hetman of the Zaporozhian Army, political and military figure.
- Yosyp Viacheslavovych Yurkevych — zemstvo doctor, owner of an estate in Kryvyi Rih. He built a school and the first power station in the village.
