Point-of-care testing of neonatal coagulation

Point-of-care testing of neonatal coagulation is a scholarly work by Kenneth Tan, published in 2006 in ''International Journal of Laboratory Hematology''. The main subjects of the publication include medicine, blood clotting test, neonatal sepsis, partial thromboplastin time, point of care, neonatal intensive care unit, point-of-care testing, predictive value of tests, intensive care medicine, infant respiratory distress syndrome, blood coagulation, sepsis, pediatrics, internal medicine, prothrombin time, and anaesthesia. The aim of this validation study was to compare prothrombin time (PT) and activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) results from a point-of-care testing (POCT) device (Rapidpoint Coag) with those from standard laboratory tests.
