Pediatric cycloplegic refraction
Pediatric cycloplegic refraction is a scholarly work, published in 2023. The main subjects of the publication include atropine, medicine, cyclopentolate-(RS), ophthalmology, tropicamide, cycloplegia, mydriasis, retinopathy of prematurity, refraction, Strabismus, and optometry. Because of the unfavorable side effects and risks associated with atropine, cyclopentolate has been found to provide quite effective cycloplegia, even for moderate to severe hyperopia, and has become the standard agent for traditional pediatric cycloplegic exams.
