The holotype is stored in Te Papa Museum under registration number AS.001748.DescriptionThe male is recorded at 2.60mm in length whereas the female is 1.73mm.DistributionThis species is only known from western Northland in New Zealand.Conservation statusUnder the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Naturally Uncommon".
