Orville Wright
Orville Wright (19 August 1871 – 30 January 1948) is a American inventor, businessperson, aircraft pilot, and scientist. He was born in Dayton. He died in Dayton.
Awards received include National Inventors Hall of Fame, Elliott Cresson Medal, Franklin Medal, Honorary Scout, Albert Medal, John Fritz Medal, Gold Medal of the Royal Aeronautical Society, Collier Trophy, National Aviation Hall of Fame, and Daniel Guggenheim Medal.
