Omer Netzer

Omer Netzer is an Israeli country music artist currently based in Nashville, Tennessee.

Biography

Omer grew up in Nahariya, a small coastal town in northern Israel. His parents owned the local music shop, which allowed for exposure to country and Southern rock. Omer grew up listening to Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, The Allman Brothers, B. B. King, Hank Williams, and Elvis.
At the age of 18, he enlisted into the Israel Defense Forces and served as a combat medic. During his service, he'd frequently play his guitar to relax after the days of long work.
After becoming the most popular and highest rated country music artist in Israel, Omer moved to Nashville to further his career in fall 2023. However, he returned to Israel after the October 7 attacks to fight Hamas in the Gaza war.
