Obshchy Kolodez is a village in Korenevsky District, Kursk Oblast, Russia.
Geography
The village is located in the basin of the Krepna River, from the Russian-Ukrainian border, southwest of Kursk, northeast of the district centre — urban-type settlement Korenevo, [Korenevsky District, Kursk Oblast|Korenevo], from the centre of the village council - the village Sheptuhovka.
History
On 13 August 2024, during the August 2024 [Kursk Oblast incursion|August 2024 Kursk Oblast Incursion] in the Russo-Ukrainian War, the Ministry of [Defence (Russia)|Russian Ministry of Defence] claimed to have repelled Ukrainian assaults near the village.
