Oña
Oña is a municipality and town located in the province of Burgos, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2011 census, the municipality has a population of 1,219 inhabitants.
History
In the Middle Ages, Oña had a Jewish community that built a synagogue in 1405. Following the Expulsion of Jews from Spain 1492, the building was transferred to the local monastery.Main sights
- Benedictine monastery of San Salvador de Oña. During 2012, the town hosted the 17th edition of the sacred art exhibition Las Edades del Hombre.El jardín secreto, an outdoor walk and art exhibit by local artists.
