Nyaksimvol


Nyaksimvol is a rural locality in Beryozovsky District of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Russia, located on the left bank of the Severnaya Sosva River, southwest of.

Etymology

Its name derives from the Mansi words ня̄хсям "gill" and во̄ль "river section", and hence means "gill river section".
In writing it is used with the word па̄выл "village".

Climate

Nyaksimvol has a subarctic climate. Winters are frigid with average temperatures from in January, while summers are mild with average temperatures from in July. Precipitation is moderate and is somewhat higher in summer than at other times of the year.
