The 2020 United States census reported that North Auburn had a population of 13,452. The population density was. The racial makeup of North Auburn was 75.1% White, 0.9% African American, 1.6% Native American, 2.3% Asian, 0.2% Pacific Islander, 8.9% from other races, and 11.1% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 18.7% of the population.The census reported that 94.4% of the population lived in households, 1.4% lived in non-institutionalized group quarters, and 4.2% were institutionalized.
There were 5,485 households, out of which 23.6% included children under the age of 18, 42.8% were married-couple households, 6.5% were cohabiting couple households, 32.6% had a female householder with no partner present, and 18.0% had a male householder with no partner present. 33.3% of households were one person, and 20.9% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.32. There were 3,276 families.

Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2,108 persons.The census reported that 11,999 people lived in households, 308 lived in non-institutionalized group quarters, and 715 were institutionalized.
There were 5,080 households, 1,440 had children under the age of 18 living in them, 2,254 were opposite-sex married couples living together, 598 had a female householder with no husband present, 238 had a male householder with no wife present.
