Neptunea polycostata is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Buccinidae, the true whelks.
There is one subspecies: Neptunea polycostata aino Fraussen & Terryn, 2007

Distribution

Cold northern seas, Sakhalin Island, and Hokkaido, Japan.
