NGC 7808
NGC 7808 is a lenticular galaxy in the constellation of Cetus. Its velocity with respect to the cosmic microwave background is 8521 ± 24 km/s, which corresponds to a Hubble distance of 125.67 ± 8.80 Mpc. It was discovered by American astronomer Frank Muller in 1886.
NGC 7808 is an active Seyfert I galaxy.
One supernova has been observed in NGC 7808: SN2023qnz was discovered by Pan-STARRS on 22 August 2023.
