NGC 7499

NGC 7499 is an unbarred lenticular galaxy within the constellation Pisces. NGC 7499 is its New General Catalogue designation. It was discovered on September 2, 1864 by the astronomer Albert Marth.

Two supernovae have been observed in NGC 7499:SN 1986M was discovered by E. Cappellaro and Leonida Rosino on 7 December 1986.PSN J23102264+0735202 was discovered by Robert Gagliano, Dick Post, Jack Newton, and Tim Puckett on 6 September 2015.
