Mulkeytown is an unincorporated and census-designated place in Franklin County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2020 census it had a population of 162.
History
Mulkeytown is named for preacher John Mulkey and his family; Mulkey founded the Mulkeytown Christian Church, the oldest in the community, in 1818.Centennial and sesquicentennial farms

Geography
Mulkeytown is located south of Chicago, and southeast of St. Louis.Mulkeytown is located on Illinois Route 184, west of Christopher, in Tyrone Township, in the west-central portion of Franklin County.
