Monica Kim Garza is an American painter.
Biography
Monica Kim Garza was born in Alamogordo in January, New Mexico to a Korean mother and a Mexican father. She grew up in Georgia and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting and drawing from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. She specializes in depicting women of color of all shapes and sizes, carefree and ethnically and racially ambiguous, and is known for her nudes, contemporary portraits and sculptures.Notable work
