Misumi, Kumamoto
Misumi was a town located in Uto District, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan.
As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 9,840 and the density of 203.73 persons per km2. The total area was 48.30 km2.
On January 15, 2005, Misumi, along with the town of Shiranuhi, and the towns of Matsubase, Ogawa and Toyono, was merged to create the city of Uki and no longer exists as an independent municipality.
