Mehan, Oklahoma


Mehan is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Payne County, Oklahoma, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. As of the 2020 census, Mehan had a population of 34.
The CDP is in central Payne County, on the northeast side of the valley of Stillwater Creek, a southeast-flowing tributary of the Cimarron River. Mehan is southeast of Stillwater, the Payne county seat, and northeast of Perkins.

As of the 2020 census, Mehan had a population of 34. The median age was 47.0 years. 23.5% of residents were under the age of 18 and 17.6% of residents were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 112.5 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 136.4 males age 18 and over.
