Meadow Vista is a census-designated place in Placer County, California, United States. It is part of the Sacramento metropolitan area. The population was 3,263 at the 2020 census, up from 3,217 at the 2010 census.

The 2020 United States census reported that Meadow Vista had a population of 3,263. The population density was. The racial makeup of Meadow Vista was 87.7% White, 0.1% African American, 0.5% Native American, 0.7% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 2.5% from other races, and 8.4% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 8.3% of the population.
The census reported that 99.4% of the population lived in households, 21 people lived in non-institutionalized group quarters, and no one was institutionalized.
There were 1,284 households, out of which 24.4% included children under the age of 18, 62.8% were married-couple households, 5.5% were cohabiting couple households, 17.1% had a female householder with no partner present, and 14.6% had a male householder with no partner present. 21.3% of households were one person, and 13.2% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.52. There were 944 families.
The age distribution was 18.8% under the age of 18, 5.0% aged 18 to 24, 18.2% aged 25 to 44, 31.3% aged 45 to 64, and 26.7% who were 65years of age or older. The median age was 51.7years. For every 100 females, there were 92.4 males.

The racial makeup of Meadow Vista was 3,017 White, 1 African American, 21 Native American, 35 Asian, 6 Pacific Islander, 34 from other races, and 103 from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino people of any race were 171.
The census reported that 3,201 people lived in households, 16 lived in non-institutionalized group quarters, and no one was institutionalized.
There were 1,246 households, 374 had children under the age of 18 living in them, 807 were opposite-sex married couples living together, 96 had a female householder with no husband present, 51 had a male householder with no wife present. There were 48 unmarried opposite-sex partnerships, and 7 same-sex married couples or partnerships. 233 households were one person and 118 had someone living alone who was 65 or older. The average household size was 2.57. There were 954 families ; the average family size was 2.90.
