Maiko Kano
Maiko Kano is a former Japanese volleyball player. She was part of the Japanese team that won bronze at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Kumi Nakada converted her to setter in 2012-13 season.
Personal life
Kano was born on July 5, 1988, in Mitaka City, Tokyo. Fellow volleyball player Miyuki Kano is her elder sister. She became a volleyball player at 10 years old.She was elected the candidate player of the national team when she was a junior high school student.
Marriage
Kano announced her marriage to singer and actor on January 3, 2025. The couple’s relationship was first reported in April 2023, they met in 2019 after working together on Fuji TV’s 2019 World Cup Volleyball coverage, where WEST served as special supporters.Clubs
