Lutie, Texas
Lutie is an unincorporated community in Collingsworth County, in the U.S. state of Texas. According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had a population of 35 in 1990.
History
The population went down to only ten in 2000 through 2010.On May 5, 2007, an EF0 tornado struck Lutie. Local law enforcement observed the tornado over open fields. A few minutes later, storm chasers observed an F1 tornado that largely remained over open fields. On May 16, 2017, an EF0 tornado struck Lutie. This brief tornado remained over open country and caused no damage.
