Presles, Val-d'Oise

Presles is a commune in the Val-d'Oise département in Île-de-France in northern France. Presles–Courcelles station has rail connections to Persan, Sarcelles and Paris.

History

The lordship of Presles was held by Pierre [VI de Chambly|Pierre the Fat], chamberlain of France|chamberlain] of Philip [IV of France|King PhilipIV] of France, in the late 13th century.
