The racial makeup of Loma Rica was 79.5% White, 0.7% African American, 1.7% Native American, 2.0% Asian, 0.2% Pacific Islander, 4.9% from other races, and 11.1% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 12.2% of the population.The census reported that 99.2% of the population lived in households, 0.8% lived in non-institutionalized group quarters, and no one was institutionalized.
There were 879 households, out of which 27.1% included children under the age of 18, 65.4% were married-couple households, 5.8% were cohabiting couple households, 14.1% had a female householder with no partner present, and 14.7% had a male householder with no partner present. 16.5% of households were one person, and 8.2% were one person aged 65 or older.
