Lisandro Alonso
Lisandro Alonso is an Argentine film director and screenwriter. He has directed six feature-length films and 2 short films, and is loosely associated with the New Argentine Cinema movement.
Career
His film La libertad was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival. Two of his films were selected for the Toronto International Film Festival, Los Muertos in 2004, and Liverpool in 2008.In 2009 Alonso engaged in a filmic exchange of shorts with Albert Serra in which they each took a previous film and using the same crew and actors reviewed their filming process.
