Geography
Korosten district borders Zviahel and Zhytomyr raions of Zhytomyr Oblast, Kyiv and Rivne regions of Ukraine. The district borders Belarus. Korosten district is located on the Polesian Lowland, in Zhytomyr Polissya. The is located within the boundaries of the Korosten district.
