Koki Ikeda


Koki Ikeda is a Japanese racewalking athlete. He studied at Toyo University.
Ikeda won a bronze medal in 20 kilometres [race walk] at the 2019 Asian [Race Walking Championships] in Nomi. He represented Japan at the 2019 [World Athletics Championships], competing in 2019 [World Athletics Championships – Men's 20 kilometres walk|20 kilometres walk]. He won a silver medal at 2020 Summer Olympics – Men's 20 kilometres walk|2020 Summer Olympics] and the 2022 World [Athletics Championships – Men's 20 kilometres walk|2022 World Athletics Championships] in the same event.
In February 2025, Ikeda was banned for anti-doping violations for four years from November 2024 with results from June 2023 disqualified. His blood samples showed abnormalities alleged to indicate tampering.
