Kassim Basma

Kassim Basma is a multimillionaire Sierra Leonean businessman and the second leading diamond exporter from Sierra Leone, accounting for around 38% of all official Sierra Leone diamond exports. Basma was born in Kono District in Eastern Sierra Leone.
Basma was interviewed by Greg Campbell for his book Blood Diamonds: Tracing the Deadly Path of the World's Most Precious Stones.
Kassim Basma is dead, he died 29 Dec 2018, out of Sierra Leone. After the death of Kassim Basma, his son Jihad Basma took over the business.
