Early life and education

Kaspar Tiri was born and raised in Estonia. He attended the Estonian Business School in Tallinn, where he studied business and was active in student entrepreneurship programs.

Career

In 2016, Tiri co-founded Wolfprint 3D, an Estonian technology company focused on using 3D scanning technology to create digital representations of “real people” for VR. Tiri and his co-founders spent several years creating custom 3D avatars for enterprise clients in industries like telecommunications and fashion. However, recognizing the need for scalability, they pivoted to a platform model focusing on developers and end users. Wolfprint 3D built distinctive egg-shaped scanning pods called "Luna" that allowed users to create a high-resolution 3D model of their face in minutes. These pods were installed in public venues across Finland and the United States as part of a pilot project to collect biometric data. By 2019, Wolfprint 3D had renamed to Wolf3D and shifted its focus from hardware to software by developing a smartphone application for face scanning to generate personal avatars.
In 2020, Wolf3D launched Ready Player Me, a cross-game avatar platform that allows users to create consistent 3D characters from a single photograph for use across multiple gaming and virtual reality platforms. The launch coincided with a surge of interest in online virtual experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic, accelerating the platform's adoption.
Tiri is also active as an investor. In 2024, he made an investment in Sera, an artificial intelligence company based in Estonia.

Awards and recognition

In 2019, Tiri and his Wolf3D co-founders were named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list.
