Josh Charlton


Josh Charlton is a British track and road cyclist, who most recently rode for UCI Continental team.

Career

He competed at his debut elite UCI [Track Cycling World Championships|Track World Championships] in October 2024. He is a former List of [world records in track cycling|world record holder] in Individual Pursuit, becoming the third man ever to drop from the 4min mark, and the second at the sea level.
In 2025 at the 2025 [British Cycling National Track Championships], Charlton won his second national title. He competed for Great Britain at the 2025 UEC European Track Championships in Belgium, winning the gold medal in the men's individual pursuit. On 24 October 2025, at the 2025 UCI Track [Cycling World Championships] in Santiago, Chile, Charlton won the men’s 2025 [UCI Track Cycling World Championships – Men's individual pursuit|individual pursuit] to take the world title.
