Joint Civilian Service Achievement Award
The Joint Civilian Service 'Achievement Medal ' is a civilian service award of under the authority of the combatant commands and heads of joint organizations authority for this award can be further delegated.
Eligibility
This award is granted to any civilian employee of the Joint Staff, combatant commands, joint organizations reporting to or through the CJCS, or any other employee designated by the CJCS for service that is significant and does not meet the level required for the JSCM.The award cannot be received in conjunction with a Joint Service, CJCS or Secretary of Defense award for the same service. The service or actions should have impact on the program or mission, which may be of a limited duration. The time requirement should be a tour or station of one to three years or a deployment of less than a year.
