John A. Byrne
John A. Byrne, is an American journalist, author and the CEO of C-Change Media Inc. Byrne is known as the editor-in-chief first at Fast Company Magazine and then businessweek.com, he was also the executive editor of Business Week magazine.

Byrne got his master's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri and an undergraduate degree in English and political science from William Paterson College.Career
Byrne has been a speaker and essayist on business education and the future of journalism. He has been interviewed about the new world of journalism and the future of business education, and has been for Harvard University's Nieman Reports, The Christian Science Monitor, and MediaWeek magazine.In 2010, Byrne founded C-Change Media Inc. to create digital platforms focused on business schools and leadership. The company’s flagship publication, Poets & Quants, launched the same year and quickly became a widely cited source for business education news, school rankings, and interviews with deans and executives.
In 2012, Byrne expanded C-Change Media’s portfolio to include Poets & Quants for Execs, a platform dedicated to executive MBA programs. As of 2014, the network of C-Change Media websites was attracting over one million monthly page views.
Poets & Quants has become a source frequently cited by major media outlets, including Fortune, Forbes, and The Financial Times in discussions of MBA trends and business school rankings.

Byrne resides in the United States and continues to oversee C-Change Media’s editorial direction while contributing commentary on higher education and management journalism.In 2023, John A. Byrne sold C-Change Media, the parent company of Poets & Quants, to Times Higher Education, marking the company’s integration into one of the world’s leading education media networks.
