Isabella Nichols
Isabella Nichols is an Australian professional surfer who competes at the World Surf League.
Early life
Nichols is born in Denmark, but raised in Australia, from Coolum Beach, Queensland. She has been surfing since she was nine years old. She won the world junior championship in January 2016 held in Portugal.Career
Nichols was the stunt double for Blake Lively in the 2016 thriller film The Shallows. She won the final of the 2022 women's Margaret River Pro on the WSL tour, held in surf at Margaret River Main Break defeating of Kauai, Hawaii. Her score in the final was 12.94 out of a possible 20.00, to her opponent's 10.00. The win lifted Nichols to tenth place on the World Surf League tour rankings.She is studying for a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree at Deakin University.
