Ioan
Ioan is a variation on the name John found in Aromanian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Russian, Welsh, and Sardinian. It is usually masculine. The female equivalent in Romanian and Bulgarian is Ioana. In Russia, the name Ioann is usually reserved for the clergy.
