Inxuba Yethemba Local Municipality elections
The Inxuba Yethemba Local Municipality council, situated within the Chris Hani District Municipality in South Africa comprises eighteen members elected through a mixed-member proportional representation system. Nine councillors are elected via first-past-the-post voting in nine wards, while the remaining nine are selected from party lists to ensure that the total number of party representatives is proportional to the number of votes received. In the election of 1 November 2021, the African National Congress secured a majority, winning ten seats.
