Monastir Military High School


The Monastir Military High School, established in 1847, was one of the three-year educational military high schools of the Ottoman Empire. It was located in Monastir. The buildings of the school have been used as museums since 1934.
The other military high schools of the Ottoman Empire were: Constantinople Military High School and Bursa Military High School, both founded in 1846; the Edirne Military High School and Monastir Military High School, founded in 1847; the Damascus Military High School, founded in 1848; the Erzurum Military High School, founded in 1873; and the Baghdad Military High School, founded in 1876.
