Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association
The Indian Motion Picture Producers Association is an association of film producers established in 1937. As a non-profit organization, it functions as a film registration body and service to address issues for producers within the industry. The IMPPA acts as a central organizational body for producers in the Indian film industry.

The Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association held an election on April 10, 2022, in which a new member executive committee was established. Abhay Sinha was elected as the president of the association. Subsequently, the committee appointed members to various internal committees to resolve industry-related matters. 77th Cannes Film Festival
The IMPPA partnered with the Confederation of Indian Industry in 2024 to feature Indian cinema at the Bharat Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival. On behalf of the IMPPA, promotion of the Bhojpuri film Sanyog at the Cannes Film Festival was done by Rajpal Yadav. The collaboration sought to highlight the diverse narratives and rich cultural heritage of Indian cinema on an international platform.The Cannes festival's Bharat Pavilion, designed by the National Institute of Design at Ahmedabad, was named The Sutradhara to reflect this year’s theme, “Create in India.” As a new establishment to Cannes Film, it is intended to serve as a platform of collaboration, networking, and support for Indian cinema. This was designed to underscore India’s commitment to showcasing its cinematic heritage and fostering international collaborations. As part of the Cannes Film Festival, the NFDC collaboration with Federation of Indian [Chambers of Commerce & Industry|FICCI] organized a special event titled Bharat Parva. The event, held at the French Riviera, began with an address by Sanjay Jaju, secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
