Imagery and Sensory Modality is a scholarly work, published in 1969 in ''Perceptual and Motor Skills''. The main subjects of the publication include stimulus modality, auditory imagery, cognitive psychology, multisensory integration, mental image, psychology, anosmia, sensory nervous system, modality, and sensory analysis. Combining both judgments into an imagery index, high imagery values were found for tactual and gustatory words, visual and olfactory words were intermediate, and auditory words were low in imagery.
