Home Garden is a census-designated place in Kings County, California, United States. The community is about southeast of the city of Hanford. It is part of the Hanford-Corcoran Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,653 at the 2020 United States census.

The 2020 United States census reported that Home Garden had a population of 1,653. The population density was. The racial makeup of Home Garden was 419 White, 170 African American, 27 Native American, 43 Asian, 3 Pacific Islander, 701 from other races, and 290 from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1,210 persons.The whole population lived in households. There were 429 households, out of which 212 had children under the age of 18 living in them, 197 were married-couple households, 42 were cohabiting couple households, 108 had a female householder with no partner present, and 82 had a male householder with no partner present. 64 households were one person, and 25 were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 3.85. There were 347 families.
The age distribution was 526 people under the age of 18, 146 people aged 18 to 24, 435 people aged 25 to 44, 371 people aged 45 to 64, and 175 people who were 65years of age or older. The median age was 31.5years. For every 100 females, there were 101.3 males.

Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1,189 persons.The census reported that 1,753 people lived in households, 8 lived in non-institutionalized group quarters, and no one was institutionalized.
There were 437 households, 252 had children under the age of 18 living in them, 214 were opposite-sex married couples living together, 112 had a female householder with no husband present, 50 had a male householder with no wife present. There were 49 unmarried opposite-sex partnerships, and 1 same-sex married couples or partnerships. 42 households were one person and 18 had someone living alone who was 65 or older. The average household size was 4.01. There were 376 families ; the average family size was 4.16.
