Athletics

Hoke County is a member of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association and is classified as a 8A school. It is a part of the Mid-South 7A/8A Conference. The school colors are red and white, and its team name are the Bucks. Listed below are the different sport teams at Hoke County:
The women's outdoor track and field team won five straight NCHSAA open classification state championships in 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975 and 1976. The baseball team were the NCHSAA 4A state champions in 1990.
