Han Shiqian

Han Shiqian was a major general in the People's Liberation Army of China. He was a delegate to the 8th National People's Congress.

Biography

Han was born in Ding County, Hebei, in January 1935.
Han enlisted in the People's Liberation Army in January 1951, and joined the Chinese Communist Party in October 1958. He attained the rank of major general in September 1988. He became commander of the Hebei Military District in June 1990, and served until January 1995.
On 8 December 2007, Han died in Beijing, at the age of 72.
