Gustavo De Luca


Carlos Gustavo De Luca is an Argentine former footballer who played as a forward for various clubs in Argentina, Chile, Peru and Switzerland. In 1982, when he was a River Plate youth player, he fought at the Falklands War.

Club career

As a youth player, De Luca was with Club San Fernando and River Plate.
De Luca mainly highlighted in Chile being goalscorer in its first division, second division and its national cup.
In that country, he had stints with Santiago Wanderers, Cobreloa, Deportes La Serena, O'Higgins, Colo-Colo, Regional Atacama, Deportes Temuco and Everton.

Personal life

De Luca began playing rugby, sport which he practiced until he was seventeen.
He fought at the Falklands War.
