Guraleus adelaidensis
Guraleus adelaidensis is an extinct species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc, in the family Mangeliidae. Fossils of the species date to middle Miocene strata of the St Vincent Basin of South Australia.
Description
In the original description, Powell described the species as follows:The holotype of the species measures in length and has a diameter of. It is one of the smaller members of the genus Guraleus. The shell is fusiform, and the species can be distinguished due to there being ten axial costae on each whorl.
