Grid Connected WECS with A Five Level DCMLI using PID Controlle

Grid Connected WECS with A Five Level DCMLI using PID Controlle is a scholarly work, published in 2014 in ''Journal of Engineering Science and Technology Review''. The main subjects of the publication include grid, generator, buck converter, power electronics, microgrid, inverter, wind power, turbine, computer science, permanent magnet synchronous generator, PID controler, irrigation controller, voltage, Variable speed wind turbine, control theory, and engineering. The paper deals with the analysis, modeling and control system for permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) based wind turbine connected to the grid.A wind energy conversion using DC-DC Buck-Boost Converter for permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) based variable speed wind energy conversion system (WECS) has been proposed which is integrated with grid using five-level diode clamped multilevel (DCMLI) inverter. In this work the instantaneous values of input side current and voltage of DC-DC buck-boost converter are utilized for implementing the PID controller. The proposed work is verified by the simulation in Powersim.
