Gérard Darmon


Gérard Darmon is a French-Moroccan actor and singer. He has been nominated for the César Award for Best Supporting Actor twice, for his roles in Betty Blue and Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra.

Personal life

He was the second husband of actress Mathilda May. He has three children: Virginie and, by May, daughter Sarah and son Jules.
Darmon also did a cover of "Mambo Italiano".
Darmon is of Sephardic Jewish descent. In July 2012, he was naturalised Moroccan by a decree from King Mohamed VI.
