Gemerek is a town in Sivas Province of Turkey. It is the seat of Gemerek District. Its population is 10,195. The mayor is Sezai Çelikten.

Gemerek has a dry-summer continental climate, with hot, dry summers, nevertheless with cool nights, and cold, snowy winters.
